Luce's faults..

Holden says a lot of things that bother him against Luce. Even though Luce is a pain in the ass towards Holden, he still doesn't really want him to go. It seems like Holden can still talk to Luce really easily about anything, and that he's comfortable around him. It seems like Luce is the only non-phony person around Holden, and Holden accepts him for having such a good vocabulary and being intellectual. I guess Holden likes having Luce around, because he thinks everyone else is simply phony.
